360 down, 5 to go

The whole “we never close” thing (i.e. Norm’s Restaurant, Vegas, and 7-Eleven) is not my style. There’s no start line and the only definite finish coincides with the world ending. No, thank you.

As a person who likes to organize and accomplish, I prefer things with a precise beginning and end. For instance, a calendar year – the 12-month cycle is just what I need to orient my life. I am excited to close this year, which has been awesome, and start a new one.

We are 360 down and only have 5 to go! The next five days are filled with one final Christmas celebration, fun in the sun, a visit to the zoo, and awesome workouts. Here’s my workout plan…

Friday – 45 minute Nike Training Club workout (Power Press)

Saturday – Run and yoga (hopefully with my fitness-loving in-law’s)

Sunday – Family hike (or run, if I fail to get Isaac on board for the family hike)

Monday – Run and 30 minute Nike Training Club workout

Tuesday – B A R R Y ‘ S   B O O T C A M P

On New Year’s Eve morning in 2012, I completed the last workout of 2012 with one of my best friends at Barry’s Bootcamp. It was an awesome (and gruelling) finish to the year. I am declaring a Barry’s Workout it my NYE fitness tradition. Anyone want to join me?

How are you spending the last 5 days of 2013? I hope it’s filled with fun, family, and fitness!

Sure am. They have one in London, but not France (yet).

They won’t have one in France for a while, especially the south. Only in the last year chain gyms have sprung up. Most gyms are machine based with not much room to burpee or charge €60+ month membership. For that I can workout at home and outside!
